You’re Invited: United Way of Wilson County Community Summit

Session Two
April 1st, 2026
11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

United Way of Wilson County
219-A Barnes Street
Registration is required. A light lunch will be provided.

Join the United Way of Wilson County for a continuation of Session One (July 30, 2025) as we take a deeper dive to determine the root causes of poverty right here in our county. This event is part of a larger effort to shape our strategic direction through collaboration, insight sharing, and action.

We are calling on local nonprofit agencies, government organizations, school counselors,
healthcare providers, and faith leaders who are currently serving individuals and families
affected by poverty - or who are researching solutions to reduce it.

Together, we’ll work to:

  • Identify the root causes of poverty in Wilson County
  • Determine how your organization can address these causes
  • Understand the impact of your current initiatives
  • Explore opportunities to collaborate with United Way in building sustainable solutions

Why Your Voice Matters:

  • Gain key insights into local poverty statistics, trends, and community needs
  • Build connections with like-minded partners who are working toward similar goals
  • Engage in powerful conversations with local change makers, researchers, and policy influencers
  • Help shape collaborative efforts that can drive long-term, meaningful change

We hope you’ll join us in this important conversation to help build a stronger, more equitable Wilson County.
Discussion facilitated by United Way of Wilson County staff and board.
